Jaco Westhuizen is a versatile South African artist whose career spans over four decades of creative evolution. His journey began in 1978 with the Performing Arts of South Africa (PACT), laying a strong foundation in theatrical design.. In 1990, Jaco founded Studio World, specializing in high-level design, project management, and artwork for major establishments. His portfolio includes iconic venues such as the Lost City, Golden Horse Casino, and Monte Casino. His expertise also took him internationally, managing stage decor for the Miss World Pageant in the Seychelles, and undertaking projects in Dubai and London.
Having returned to South Africa in 2000, Jaco now operates as a full-time artist dedicated to painting, sculpting, and design. He brings a wealth of large-scale experience to his intimate studio practice, currently focusing on extensive commission work.
